Your information, handled with care

Privacy, in plain language.

This policy explains what happens to the information you share with Hast through our website and consultation form.

Last updated: September 21, 2026

What we collect

When you request a consultation, we collect your name, email address, business name, industry, and the services and priorities you select. You can also choose to provide a website, team size, timing, and a message. A phone number is required only if you ask us to contact you by phone.

If you email us, we receive the details you include and our correspondence. Please share business context rather than passwords, payment details, or confidential customer or patient information.

How we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, arrange a consultation, understand your needs, prepare a proposal where appropriate, and manage our business relationship. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send your form answers, name, email address, or phone number to website analytics. If we need information for a new purpose, we will explain that purpose and obtain consent where required.

The services that help us run the site

Our consultation form sends your submitted details to FormSubmit, which forwards the enquiry to our email inbox. Our email and website hosting providers also process information needed to deliver and operate their services.

Hosting providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and request logs for delivery, security, and reliability. Providers may process information outside Canada, where different privacy laws may apply. Their own privacy terms also apply to their services.

We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or the security of our services. Links to Instagram and other external websites are governed by those websites’ own privacy practices.

Understanding how our website is used

We use Google Analytics to understand page visits and consultation enquiries and improve our website. Analytics loads automatically without an acceptance popup.

Analytics measures page visits, consultation-link and email-link clicks, form starts, and successful requests. Google may process device and browser information, approximate location, and cookie identifiers. Our own events omit form answers, URL query strings, and URL fragments. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our integration.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, configured here to expire after 90 days. You can manage or block cookies in your browser, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from using our website or consultation form.

Keeping and protecting information

We retain enquiry and business records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage our relationship, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. Retention can differ for correspondence, client records, provider logs, and backups.

We take reasonable steps to limit access and protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security. Contact us if you want to discuss deletion or the records associated with your enquiry.

Your choices. A real point of contact.

You can ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern by emailing hello@hast.ca. Address your message to Hast’s privacy contact. We may need to verify your identity, and some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.

We may update this policy as our services change. The date above identifies the latest version.
